The Job Description is as follows: Daily Operations:
– Ensure proper opening and closing of the restaurant
– Maintain table culture and restaurant ambience at all times
– Greet and seat guests and ensure their comfort at the table
– Perform all necessary tasks to serve food & beverage according to service standards and SOP’s
– Ensure high levels of hygiene inside the restaurant and in all back of house areas by performing appropriate cleaning tasks
– Display high level of energy for smooth and faster operations in the restaurant Revenue Management:
– Responsible for increasing the APC by practising suggestive selling Cost Management:
– Ensure proper handling, storage and control of all service equipment and accessories
– Ensure adherence to financial controls so that there is no revenue leakage
– Ensure adherence to inventory controls so that there is no breakage and wastage Training and Development:
– Ensure compliance to brands service standards
– Ensure adherence to all SOP’s and checklists at the restaurant
– Maintain a positive work environment at the restaurant
– Attend daily staff briefings
– Ensure personal grooming standards Guest relations & Interaction:
– Assist in maintaining guest database at the restaurant by collecting and updating information of the guests
– Handle all guest queries with regards to F&B
– Ensure prompt and proper communication of guest complaints to Managers
– Ensure 100% guest satisfaction & 0% guest unresolved complaints
– Responsible for the execution of all PR activities and events in the restaurant Asset Management:
– Responsible for the safety & security of the restaurant goods & team-members
– Responsible for the management and monitoring of all equipment & hardware in the restaurant
