Responsible for - * Managing Accounts & Finanace activities of the Manufacturing unit. *Preparation of monthly financials to help the leadership team in analyzing the performance of the business - Adequacy and reliability.
• Monthly financial performance report .Working capital report and cash/fund flow statement
*Preparation of control point graphs to analyse the resource utilization.- To ensure completeness and timeliness of
Control point graphs showing history and trends to monitor the progress.
*Preparation of product wise profitability statement for existing products and Preparation of costing for new products to help in pricing - Formulating scientific cost structure.
• All components of variable costs reflecting input out ratio at different stages of production. and
• Fixed cost including depreciation allocated on an appropriate basis.
* Preparation of annual budget and revised budget considering the sales plan and inputs from all process leaders -
• Capturing all relevant data to arrive at the profitability statement.
• Ensuring proper reflection of improvement to be carried out during the planning period.
• All ratios are calculated in line with the definition laid down by Corporate Finance.
To monitor actual capital expenditures against plan -
• Ensuring completeness of the report with regard to the basis on which the project has been selected and the deliverables ascertained.
• Properly reflecting the performance of the newly
implemented projects and comparing the same with the expected deliverables.
• Preparation of Post completion performance appraisal of projects exceeding the specified amount.
*Importing & Analysing ABIS data for style wise costing for all products - • Preparing input data from Oracle and customizing from based on internal process inputs.
• Importing the data to ABIS costing application.
• Validating the style wise costing given by ABIS system.
*Audit - • Maintaining complete documents & records, generation of MIS for the unit.
• Responsible for internal & external audits.
• Coordination with all internal processes for effective compilation of MIS.
• Coordination with Business process leader.
* As the business is expanding, the incumbent has to monitor the performance of each product and styles, which calls for a scientific costing system to support the business decisions.
• To maintain accuracy and timeliness in reports provided to the management in a non-IT enabled environment
• Preparation of product wise income statement is a problem in the absence of product wise inputs.
• Establishing various systems and procedure in place.
