a mid-sized, leading, professionally managed, very rapidly-expanding manufacturing organisation (operating in India and having ambitious expansion plans for Middle East) - leaders in their field. They have multiple manufacturing plants in Mumbai, headcount of over 250 and now setting up a new plant in Middle East. They plan to increase the headcount shortly to over 500. Purpose of Job: We need a GM (P&A) to independently manage: 1- Recruitment & Induction – Blue + White collar staff 2- Employment / Consulting contracts / agreements – Local and overseas 3- Multi location IR (Direct & Indirect Labours), Labour unrest, etc 4- Statutory Compliance 5- Payroll & Appraisals 6- Implement systems, processes, policies & procedures 7-Implement T&D initiatives Candidate Profile: Graduates/Engineers/MBAs with 10-22 years relevant experience in manufacturing organisations. Must have exposure to recruitment & induction of white & blue collar personnel in India & Middle East.
