Job Purpose
The Corporate and Strategic Planning Division is an independent unit accountable to Director – Finance of the Corporate Board for supporting the development of Business strategies and Plans and for developing and implementing planning and review mechanisms across the Group.
The Sr. Manager will be assigned to a set of businesses for which he/she will provide the above services, working closely with the CEO and the Finance teams of the respective businesses
Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic services
•ideas using a strategy framework (to be introduced as part of induction)
*Identifying potential opportunities in current and allied businesses.
*Articulating Executing business market research and analysis gathering system
*Analyzing strategic moves of competition and running a competitive intelligence development opportunities including determining if markets should be entere through strategic acquisition or startup
*Researching and evaluating acquisitions/joint ventures, divestments and other system using value chain anlaysis
* Facilitate to create a new business model / create improvements in the value complement the company\'s existing lines of business and areas of operation.
*Researching and investigating potential new product lines and markets that may the core business.
* Facilitating definition of critical business metrics and strategic achievement for support of planning, policy development and decision making.
*Supporting, designing and conducting quantitative and qualitative research in (cross pollination of best practices)
*Highlighting and facilitating deployment of any synergies within the portfolio improvement ideas
*Facilitating generation and implementation of cost reduction/ process
*Facilitating capex projects (tracking costs and benefits and finding solutions to
Operations - Driving Reviews:
•Quarterly reviews
•Business plan reviews
•Long term strategy planning reviews
•Capex reviews (during long term and "outside" budget proposals)
•Approve Balanced scorecard on behalf of management to communicate the plan.
Preparing major presentations for senior management and making presentations Creating and managing business dashboards
•Conducting periodic meetings with key SBU members
•Supporting MCB Directors for the assigned businesses
Experience
•
5-7 years of experience (field experience as well as strategy role)
Education / Preferred Qualifications
•Engineering and /or MBA (Finance / Marketing)
Technical Competencies
•Comfortable with Numbers
•Preferably having experience with other big Indian business groups
•Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions preferred
