• To provide leadership and co-ordinate all functions in IS Operations to deliver growth in line with the Business objectives of SHE, Quality and Production. • Prepare and gain approval for the manufacturing fixed cost and usage efficiency budgets and deliver agreed targets in an efficient manner. • Promote continuous innovation for developing new products and optimising the existing range to meet customer requirements as well as business objectives of cost leadership. • Prepare and obtain capital sanction for proposals that support the manufacturing strategy and ensure implementation of projects with SHE guidelines. • Ensure effective implementation of the Quality Management System in the operations area and achieve continuous improvement in plant productivity. • Ensure availability of resources and foster a work culture that promotes teamwork and motivate employees to deliver their best in achieving business goals. • Maintain and develop a motivated team of multi-disciplined work force to achieve cordial industrial relations in IS operations. • Contribute towards the strategic decision making process of business as a member of the Executive Management Team. • To be part of IS operations global team and share best practices for rationalization and improvements in IS manufacturing, globally. • The JH is expected to create a platform to bring IS operations in India to world class standard to achieve significant growth in export market.
