Responsible for management of a portfolio of products in terms of introduction and launch of the new products, sub brands and pack sizes, product life cycle management, brand management and overall strategies with the aim of maximising product benefits and value to its users and maximising profitability for the Organisation. Ensure quality marketing resources and best marketing practices related to campaign management, design and roll out of marketing promotions and evaluation of marketing effectiveness for SBU and National marketing programmes.
Formulate the short term and long term product strategy for the products under management in terms of brand strategy, positioning, pricing, promotions, packaging, etc. Provide the strategic framework for the GTM strategy in terms of segmentation variables, tools and techniques and provide on going support and quality review to the SBU GTM strategies. Undertake appropriate review of product portfolio and recommend phase in and phase out decisions. Evaluate market analysis and required market research to determine the market size and market potential for all products under management.
Guide sales strategy and propose pricing strategy for products under management.
