Client Profile: a large, rapidly expanding,leading, highly professionally managed Global MNC speciality chemicals/products manufacturing organisation-World leaders in their field. The position is based in Mumbai and reports to the Head-Sales / Marketing. Our clients offer excellent salary/perks and career growth prospects.   Job Profile/KRAs: The incumbent is responsible for the growth in terms of turnover and gross margin of the product group business in India through the definition of the strategy for market segments and main action plans in terms of business development, marketing and sales.     1. CRM: · Meets with key clients, maintains relationships and negotiates & closes deals · Reviews market analyses to determine customers’ needs   2. Marketing:   Defines and develops applicable market Identifies new market opportunities for products/applications that grow share or improve profitability based on this analysis Identifies and approaches prospects and build effective relationships to grow business Assesses value propositions (including R&D programs, IP approach, routes to market) and prioritize the opportunities   3. Business Analysis & Review:   Analyses the market and Business for all the segments and geographies and suggests strategies for sustained profitable growth.   Churns data on Sales and market to draw meaningful interpretations useful for business decisions Works closely with Regional Managers to develop better understanding of the market and OC business, with a view to evolve better strategies in the market place Makes presentations as back up to Sales and Marketing leader Works closely with Operations and Technical services teams to identify opportunities for Creating value for customers in the market – on behalf of the sales team Monitors and evaluates competitor moves with the help of inputs from Regional Managers Prepares business reports Analytics to dissect data on market, customer segmentation, end market segmentation, products , imports to deliver high reports on, profitability, share , margins, growth and opportunities to guide the organization to more effective business decisions. Projects – Cross functional or within Sales and marketing team as and when required   Candidate Profile: Engineer (preferably MBA) with 10-16 years relevant experience in chemicals / FRP /lubes / paints /coatings / printing-inks organizations
