Web Marketing Manager
Job Description
To be responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet agreed company objectives.
This is a hands on role and would require that the person has hands on experience in executing marketing
campaigns across different platforms particularly Social Media and the Internet. Responsible for developing
and executing digital strategies and recommendations including user experiences, information architectures,
interactive B2B marketing, corporate web site, online lead generation and content strategies. This position
is a critical aspect of IIS\'s overall marketing activity and requires an individual who has a proven track
record of developing B2B and B2C online marketing strategies targeted at the S&M business
• Web marketing experience for the last 3 years along with B2B marketing, preferably working in a software/high tech organization
• Knowledge of new media, Internet related technologies and current web trends, including social media and analytics
• Ability to apply long-range marketing and business strategies to web presence
•Responsible for the marketing of company products and services to the right market and ensuring that the company achieves the right level of
visibility within the target market.
• Strategize, optimize, and manage content for IIS marketing
• Develop a global digital marketing roadmap to support brand building, client engagement and lead generation;
• Provide regular reporting for website and online marketing initiatives, using internal data sources, WebTrends and Google Analytics
• Coordinate social media activities by actively engaging in consumer and industry blogs, video sharing, online chats, etc., messaging and
increased brand awareness resulting in increased traffic to our websites.
• Analyze data, determine insights, and develop recommendations to optimize the user experience.
• Track and measure online advertising and promotional programs
• Design test strategies and creative to optimize results
• Hands-on optimization, including keyword/phrase research, site structure, page construction, content, and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) copywriting.
• Manage SEO (organic and paid) projects
• Keep abreast of industry trends and opportunities
• Manage digital agency and vendor relationship(s)
• Manage content management system
•Develop IIS\'s messaging to suit the target market in line with the overall strategy.
•Demonstrate technical marketing skills and company product/service knowledge.
•Develop an annual marketing plan in conjunction with the sales department. This should detail the year’s activity to meet agreed company objectives.
•Budget management. To deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget.
•Organise IIS\'s presence at Trade Shows.
•Manage the website and ensure it is constantly up to date.
•To develop collateral and presentation and ensure they are constantly up to date.
•To achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media.
