Job Description |
|
Purpose/Summary: What is the employee accountable for? Why is this role/position important in terms of impact?
I. Facilities Management
o Global Facilities Management (FM) spend data gathering and analysis.
o Create and maintain market benchmarks for FM services for global locations (for both APMM internal as well as market based)
o Identify opportunities and project pipeline for cost reduction programs.
o Drive and implement Facilities management solutions/projects in various locations (including Terminals, Depot, Container Freight Stations (CFS) etc.)
o Liaise between Business Units (local offices), Regional Property Manager and FM vendor during the planning, implementation and post transition phase
o Monitor supplier performance and claims log and provide timely and relevant feedback (internally as well as externally). Create statistics and graphs to illustrate performance trends II. Property Management
o Responsible for update and maintenance of property leases (through a third party system).
o Identify opportunities for cost reduction through analysis of property lease data.
o Create and maintain property lease market benchmarks for global locations.
o Provide timely notification for lease renewal, renegotiation etc.
o Drive a constant focus on process improvements and come with suggestions to develop strategy.
o On a quarterly basis produce statistics/benchmarks (space, costs, etc) per region and per BU
o Monitor actual cost development per BU (from accounting system) and provide graphs and illustrations to show performance and trends Key Responsibilities: Include how the colleague is going to be measured?
o Perform spend mapping and scope analysis for FM and real estate portfolio.
o Understanding hindrances/challenges in implementing FM outsourcing and recommend solution
o Business case presentation for Real Estate and FM domains.
o Monitor and liaise with FM vendors for assessing deliverables, performance measurement and any other issues.
o Liaise with local offices to understand requirement, challenges and feedback periodically.
o Provide timely and accurate statistics and reports.
o Drive a constant focus on process improvements and come with suggestions to develop strategy.
