Job Description
? Undertake business promotion activities
through interaction with container
Shipping lines, Freight forwarders, Agents,
etc
? Responsible for developing cliental base
comprising of new customers
? Tracking market intelligence
? Updating management for every possible
news/updates pertaining to market/trade
developments, new service
arrivals/updates, competition
developments, seasonal cargo flow, cargo
types and volume projections,
port/terminal updates, updating COC &
SOC freight/rate levels etc.
? Monitoring market freight & slot rate levels
and acting viable to procure business.
? Liaising for rate filing with existing and
new customers as per their
requirements/convenience & mgmt’s
instructions.
Personal Specifications ? Self Starter, Proactive, analytical and
customer friendly.
? Should have excellent understanding
of Container Cargo.
? Should be a high achiever.
? Should have excellent inter personal
skills.
? Should be willing to travel extensively.
