Job Description
Marketing Planning
• Prepare annual marketing plan ( Product, Pricing, Promotion strategies)
• Propose annual marketing budget based on policy in consultation with other functions
• Act as the key pivot and interface for marketing plans at National & Regional levels.
• Work with the GM / Sales Managers to share the programme road map and marketing inputs to deliver targeted sales / marketing objectives.
• Closely liaise with Product Development Head for new product introductions/Launches etc.
• Developing programs to support ATL / BTL, adapting the campaign to further Market shares and Sales objectives, regionally and nationally
• Media Planning ( where to and when to)
• Identify creative for advertisements and POS
• To bring in local / area insights to enable better Marketing planning with Regional Sales Managers. Implementation of channel wise consumer value proposition • Depending on the channel type – EBOs, large format chain stores, malls, organized trade, multi brand outlets etc, - enhance the value proposition of our product range especially the new products.
• Ensure proper utilization
• Constantly identify strategic locations, maximum display space in format stores. And ensure visibility & mass appeal Enhance and ensure superior merchandise and VM visibility
• Ensure high quality visibility at retail outlets through signages, internal merchandising, handling merchandiser teams, POSM etc.
• Explore opportunities of enhancing brand presence in New channel segments
• Owning and ensuring look and feel in different kinds of channels as per brand guidelines. Conceptualize the BTL initiatives for the regions :
• Conceptualizing and implementing market specific BTL program to maintain and increase brand market share and visibility.
• Initiatives with Trade – To increase their “Desire to sell” our products.
• To ensure perfect execution and implementation of regional and national level BTL programs. Managing Resources
• Managing team of external agencies to ensure perfection in implementation
• Owning up to the Advertising & Sales and promotional activities budgets.
• Ensure planned spends in line with the Marketing and Product calendar
• Ensure spends accuracy for the sales area.
• Implementation of the new JOCKEY global fixtures for EBOs and eventually other multi brand outlets
• Organize periodic training of Sales staff and managers at EBO’s & Format stores. Competition Tracking, analysis & feedback on a periodic basis.
• Inform management and plan actions regarding competitive initiatives, competition’s activities, Products, pricing, promotions etc.
• Ongoing Market research to assess Brand’s status. Obtain periodic feedback from Sales team and sample retailers.
