We are looking for Associate Directors / Managers to join the Strategic and Commercial Intelligence team in the Port sector. Location: Mumbai/Gurgaon About SCI: SCI is dedicated to providing insights and rigorous analysis based advise to support the clients\' strategic and transaction decisions. Clientele would include leading Private Equity Houses, Venture Funds, Corporates looking at M&A as a part of their growth plans, multinationals assessing newer markets for entry, etc. Some of the key areas that SCI does work in; are as follows: Market Assessment Entry Strategy and Feasibility Assessment Business Modelling Business Due Diligence (Strategic/ Commercial / Operational) Business Planning, Review and Validation SCI has deep sector expertise across a wide range of industries gained through more than 350 engagements and the experience of professional staff. Some of the key sectors would include Food & Agriculture, Media & Entertainment, Retail, Real Estate, Tourism & Hospitality, Financial Services, Engineering & Construction, IT/ITeS, Power Utilities & Infrastructure, Pharma & Chemicals, etc. The team\'s core competencies are in the areas of industry analysis, modelling, strategic and commercial analysis, operational analysis, portfolio performance improvement, financial analysis combined with deep M&A expertise. The Role: The person would be primarily required to lead the project team, keep the work focused on the objectives and market the group\'s services. Some of the key work areas would include: Market Assessment Project/ Investment Feasibility Business/ Products portfolio strategy Entry Strategy (Inbound/ Outbound) Pre-deal evaluation Business Modelling and Plan Development Synergy evaluation Commercial and Operational due diligence Financial Modelling and Structuring Advice The Role will require travel within the country and overseas Responsibilities: Project management and execution Business development Staff development Provide inputs for group business plan and future direction of the SCI practice Evaluate economic and legal risks to the Firm arising out of engagements, consult and adopt suitable risk management practices Keep abreast of new developments in the profession, the business, the industry and the regulatory environment Build a strong network with peers and professionals in the field Represent the firm at seminars/conferences The Individual (Skills and Competence required): To be part of the team, the individual should have: Strong and well rounded business and macro economic understanding Experience in industry studies, strategy formulation, business plan development, statistical and financial modelling, valuation, etc. Strong analytical bent of mind and structured problem solving approach High level of strategic and creative thinking Extremely high level of comfort with spreadsheets, MS word and Power point Have strong soft skills like; interpersonal skills, team skills, communication skills - both verbal and written Have the ability to work under pressure – stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours Education Background & Work Experience: MBA (full time) – Finance from premier business schools. 6 –12 years of relevant experience in Transport & Infrastructure specializing in Port Prior work experience with a top consulting organization / Investment Bank / Equity research company will be preferred Selection Process: Candidates should expect minimum 3 rounds of interviews To Apply please Contact-Pooja on 08888833063 or ail your CV to pooja@iquest-consultants.com
