Position: Purchase Manager Located at: Jaipur No. of positions: 1 Key functional area (s): • Administering various operations such as procurement, vendor management, inventory control, timely delivery of orders etc. • Carrying out various activities linked to procurement like making buying plans, releasing schedules, issuing Purchase orders, stock monitoring, schedule revisions, delivery follow ups, logistics, commissioning and payment co-ordination in order to ensure continuous supply to plants. • Identifying potential vendors, evaluates capability and quality, coordinating approval process for vendors, manages interface and vendor relationships, developing alternate vendors and supports indigenization and quality up gradation, tracks vendor history and supervising payments in order to manage existing and potential vendor network and maximizing achievement of company objectives. • Negotiation with suppliers • Categorisationt & pricing of tools and consumables • Identifying and developing data base with options and alternatives • Monitor purchase and stock movement of general stores • Provide information and updates about general stores items to customers and other user departments • Provide solution to manufacturing or design department in general stores setting or alternatives
